In Hindi the Arjuna tree is called Koh. In Marathi it is known as Sarchol, and in Gujarati it is referred to as Karoya. The Arjuna tree grows quite large.
Uses:
The bark of the Arjuna tree is primarily used medicinally, especially in the treatment of heart diseases.
In addition, a decoction of Arjuna bark is effective for treating pradar (vaginal discharge) and prameha (urinary disorders). For ear ailments, filling the ear with juice extracted from Arjuna leaves helps relieve symptoms.
