The Season of Renewal
The days of playing “Ubu Dosh-Kuri” are over—
the days of smearing the last colors of Phagun too have passed.
Now it’s Chaitra, the season of falling leaves—
dry leaves drifting down all around,
their rustling whisper a sign of change.
Spring gives much, yet takes away too—
it strips away what’s worn and old.
The tender green of new leaves soothes the eyes,
announcing, Spring has come!
The air, scented with new youth, declares—
this is the season of vitality!
Now is the time for the heart to stir.
Even if time etches a few lines upon the brow of the present,
they fade beneath the new sheen of life.
This shedding of leaves is not just for youth—
it is the season of Spring itself,
the season of renewal, of vibrant diversity.
