What a Sight That Would Be!
If the ram’s beard dangled
from a tiger’s mouth,
if a pig could flap its wings
and fly like a bird;
if monkeys sat on tree branches
twisting and teasing their mustaches,
and the owl came rushing in
with its fierce, glaring eyes;
if the washerman’s donkey,
in great excitement,
sang songs out loud—
tell me, who wouldn’t be startled
seeing such wonders!
